The lodge and nine (9) cabins at CWC are currently more accessible to a disabled individual than many cabins at traditional MN resorts.
They all have vinyl, wood, or low pile carpet for ease of rolling a wheelchair around.
Keep in mind there's lots of grassy areas, the drive is hard packed sand and the only sidewalks are at the lodge.
Depending on your abilities, a vacation here may not be possible for you, but we have made efforts to accommodate many people with a wide range of motion restrictions in order to bring more families together on vacation so that they, too, can enjoy the fun and serenity of mother nature's healing embrace.
We welcome suggestions and questions.

Pontoon Boat & Dock Access

Cabin #6 - The Leapfrog Cabin
Once inside cabin, it's about fair for accessibility. And there is a bit of a HILL from parking spaces to deck level of cabin.
(Resort owner's sister totes wheelchair hubby around resort in a golf cart. Don was able to wheel into this cabin for a look-see when we re-modeled it in 2011. A family with two kiddos in wheelchairs stayed in 2022 and they said they enjoyed their stay very much - yay! Just be aware of that little hill from parking, and the bathroom isn't spacious. If I were an independent wheelchair user, I'd be much more comfortable in cabins #3, #4, #7, #9 #10, #11, #12, #15 or #19 - Kim, CWC.)
One of Don's top two favorite cabins! Cabin #7 - The Reunion Cabin (the other is Cabin #19)
