BRAND NEW in 2026!  Wheelchair friendly, covered deck, spectacular view of lake.  Two bathrooms.  Lots of beds (5)  988 square feet.

  • Dorm bedroom:  3 Twin beds (bunk bed w/ twin on top, twin on bottom/storage in the steps)
  • Futon sofa bed & leather recliner
  • A/C & heater mini splits in each bedroom for individual control
  • ceiling fan in living room, + a fan or two
  • One main bathroom w/ shower, plus 2nd half bathroom
  • Parking:  1 space on either side of cabin and parallel parking (trailers are fine) in back of cabin along driveway
  • Rates are for 1-6, extra persons up to 9 with additional charge
  • Weekly rate is 7 days/six nights, 6th night is FREE

If you are looking for a resort for heavy drinking and all-night partying, do not choose us. Quiet time after 10:00 p.m. (When the Akeley city test siren sounds.)

All 19 cabins have . . .

  • BBQ charcoal grill (bring charcoal!)
  • deck, picnic table and at least two deck chairs
  • a fully equipped kitchen with

    • electric griddle (not all cabins have one, ask in lodge if not)
    • baking dishes (cake pans, measuring cups/spoons, cookie sheets, muffin tins)

    •  pots (variety of at least 5, plus a big pot)
    • skillets (4)
    • casserole dishes (several sizes)
    • Plates/bowls - enough for twice # of base rate peeps per cabin
    • wine glasses
    • mugs & glasses (2+ beverage pitchers)
    • flatware (incl. steak knives, spatulas, peeler, corkscrew, masher, tongs, can opener, bottle opener, pizza cutter, whisk, scoop, ladle, grater, scissors, cutting knives)
    • cutting boards
    • salt & pepper
    • toothpicks
    • dish soap (organic Sal Suds) & scrubbie/sponge

BRING KITCHEN TOWELS!

If you need an extra big pot or odd cake style pans, or extra anything, just ask at the lodge.

All cabins are non-smoking (ashtrays directly outside on deck)

All cabins come with one dock space for your own boat (we have boats for rent, too!)
