Please do not use your GPS to find us! If you use your GPS, it will not take you to our stable. Instead, you will end up on a minimum maintenance road in the middle of nowhere. Folks have actually had to be towed out of the mud, so please call us for the right directions so you can make it here safely.

You can find us 4 miles west of Pine River, Minnesota on County Road 2. Our 400 acre stable is located on the Pine River. Our trails wind through the ranch so you can enjoy nature at its best while you go horseback riding. We are just north of Brainerd and near Breezy Point, Crosslake and Nisswa.

Absolutely loved our horseback riding experience here! The 400acre land is so pretty and you get to experience some different terrain on the ride (through and along the river, in open land, through birch trees, through tall bushes). We got super lucky and got to see them let the horses out of the stable. They said they do this to “let them go be horses and roam the 400acres. I loved this! Just such beauty all around.

Absolutely amazing place to go. My boyfriend and I went on the 2 hour trail ride today and it was nothing short of amazing. Highly highly recommend to anyone - whether you're new to riding or experienced (this was our first time). :)

My friend and I had been wanting to ride horses together for a very long time and are SO GRATEFUL we chose Pine River Riding Stable! Even though we were complete beginners, our guide Jonathan was wonderful and helped ease our nerves! We will absolutely be back! Don’t forget to tip your guides, they deserve it!!!

My family and I had the absolute best time riding with our guide Rory. We had several kids and some adults that had never ridden before and the horses were so well behaved and the whole experience was amazing! I highly recommend Pine River Riding Stables and I can’t wait to return next summer!
